His Child

Imagine a Father seeing His child struggle, wander aimlessly, get in all the wrong things...our Heavenly Father sees all our faults and things we get mixed up in and turns His face away unable to bear the pain of seeing His child in such darkness. He loves you as a Father. He sees the pain and confusion and tears and heartbreak and constant defeat and loneliness, but He stands beside you, behind you and goes before you. He sees everything from a Heavenly Father’s perspective just as a Father would see his child’s decisions all from an advanced, big-picture perspective. He knows just how special you are...He set you apart. Before we took a breath He breathed His life in you. Our Heavenly Father saw the road we were following was wide and ended in death so while knowing all the very things we would do against Him, He sent His most beloved and precious child to save us. He knew that His spotless Son would take our place in all pain and consequence...He would bring light in exchange for darkness and life in exchange for death...He would bring the inheritance of being a child of God. Such sweet love.

You are His child. He has come to pick up all the broken pieces of your life and invite you into the new life of joy and eternity. Don’t devalue this gift by pushing it off...He’s calling you today. Don’t push off the best way of life..

Accepting the gift of new life and eternity is receiving and believing in our Heavenly Father’s Son who came and took our place in penalty and shame and took our sins into the tomb and left them in the grave so that we could walk in freedom without blemish or smudge of darkness held against us. It’s a life where He holds us to a higher calling to preserve our freedom. He’s calling you to the sweetest grace that lets us dwell in peace, freedom, love and complete joy for all eternity.

There are no criteria. You don’t have to pick up your life or change yourself before receiving and believing this new life...that’s the whole point of Jesus...that’s the whole point of grace. The Good News stands sufficient just as it is because of Jesus.

“When Jesus heard this, he told them, "Healthy people don't need a doctor--sick people do. I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners."
