Third Basemen Coach

Jesus is like a third basemen coach.

He’s in the game with you. He’s signing to you when to go and when to stay and waves you Home at just the right time.

How are we supposed to know what we’re supposed to do if we have our eyes everywhere but the One telling us when to go and when to stay? Our ultimate goal is to get back Home.

Let’s slide into Home gloriously exhausted knowing we fought the good fight keeping our eyes on the Coach...the One who waved us Home.

“We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God's throne.”
