Superstition vs supernatural
Superstition is believing we have to do certain things a certain way in order to attain the power of Jesus. It’s self-reliant. Supernatural is believing that we are inviting the super natural power of God over whatever we prayer for. Believing in the supernatural is relying on Jesus. Our God is not superstitious. We don’t need to fold every finger and kneel with our heads bowed for God to hear or answer our prayers. “I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.” Ephesians 3:16-19 “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.” 1 John 15:4 He’s working before we even know our need or what to pray for.
